These Terms govern your use of Vakeel, operated by Lexcore Enterprises Private Limited. By creating an account, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Vakeel provides a personal matter diary with hearing and limitation reminders (stored on your phone), a document vault on your phone, a manual filing tracker, a plain-text draft editor, an abridged Bare Acts reference, and an AI legal-research assistant ("Ask") for advocates and law students. It is a practice-support tool. Vakeel is not connected to eCourts, any court's cause list, or any e-filing portal — dates and statuses are only what you enter.
VAKEEL IS NOT A LICENSED ADVOCATE AND DOES NOT PROVIDE LEGAL ADVICE. Ask responses and AI-generated drafts are AI-generated research aids only, may be inaccurate, incomplete, or cite outdated/incorrect law, and must always be independently verified against the primary source (the Bare Act, judgment, or Rule) before you rely on them in any filing, advice to a client, or court appearance. You, as the enrolled advocate using this app, remain solely and fully responsible for every document you file and every opinion you give — Vakeel's AI output does not reduce or transfer that professional responsibility in any way.
You must be 18 or older. Vakeel is a tool for use by advocates enrolled with a State Bar Council (or law students under appropriate supervision) in their own professional capacity. Vakeel does not verify enrolment numbers with any Bar Council. It does not itself represent, advise, or act for any client, and does not create an advocate-client relationship between Lexcore Enterprises and you or any of your clients. Vakeel does not list, rank, advertise or refer advocates, and you must not use it to solicit work in breach of the Bar Council of India Rules.
A normal Ask answer uses 1 credit; a "Live web" answer (which runs a live Google Search) uses 5 credits. A free tier with 20 Ask credits is available. Vakeel Pro costs ₹799 per month and is a recurring monthly subscription processed by Razorpay: it renews automatically every month and charges your chosen payment method until you cancel. Each successful payment sets your Ask balance to 3,000 credits for that month (unused credits do not roll over). You can cancel at any time in Settings → Manage subscription; no further charges are made after cancelling and credits already in your account stay usable. Prices are shown in the app before you pay.
Payments already made for a started month are not refundable, except for an accidental, duplicate or unauthorised charge, which we refund under the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules 2020 — email cortinainfinity@gmail.com with your payment ID within 7 days of the charge.
Do not use Vakeel to draft or file anything you know to be false or misleading to a court, or to abuse the AI credit system (e.g. automated/bulk requests). We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
Reminders are only as accurate as the dates you enter and appear inside the app; they are an aid, not a substitute for your own diary and the court's official records. Data kept on your phone is not backed up by us. We are not liable for any legal outcome, court decision, missed hearing or limitation, lost data, or professional consequence arising from your use of Vakeel or reliance on its AI-generated content. To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding 3 months.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Patna, Bihar.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms. You can stop using Vakeel and delete your account at any time (Settings → Delete account). We may update these Terms; material changes are shown in the app and you will be asked to accept them again.
