Cortina AI Studio generates images from your text prompts using third-party AI providers (Google Gemini, and Replicate for select tools). This policy explains exactly what that means for your data.
Cortina AI Studio is operated by Lexcore Enterprises Private Limited (CIN U70109BR2022PTC059548), a company registered in Bihar, India ("we", "us", "the Company"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data when you use the Cortina AI Studio app.
We collect: (a) account data — name, email, hashed password; (b) usage data — the text prompts you write, any reference images you upload, generated images, model/style selections, credits and plan status; (c) payment data — transaction records (amount, plan, date); your full card/UPI details are handled directly by Razorpay and are not stored by us; (d) device data — device type, OS version, crash logs, for stability purposes only. We do NOT collect precise location, contacts, or biometric data.
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"), you are a Data Principal and we are a Data Fiduciary. We process your data only for the purposes disclosed here, with your consent (given at signup), and you may withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account.
Your text prompts, and any reference images you choose to upload, are sent to third-party AI model providers (Google Gemini, and Replicate for select tools such as upscaling and background removal) solely to generate the image you requested. These providers process your prompt/image data under their own data-processing terms; we do not control their retention policies. Generated images are stored on our servers so you can view them in your Gallery, and are deleted along with your account data if you delete your account. We do not sell your data to any third party for advertising.
The AI providers above are based outside India (primarily the United States), and your prompt/image data is processed on their servers, which may be located outside India. By using Cortina AI Studio, you consent to this cross-border transfer, consistent with the DPDP Act 2023 (which permits transfers except to countries the Central Government specifically restricts by notification — none of these providers' home countries are currently restricted).
We retain account, usage, and gallery data for as long as your account is active. Upon deletion request, we permanently delete your data within 30 days, except transaction records retained up to 90 days for tax/legal compliance (Income Tax Act, GST law).
You have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data. To request deletion, visit cortinainfinity.com/delete-account.php or email cortinainfinity@gmail.com. If you are under 18, you may not use this app without a parent/guardian's consent, per the DPDP Act's child-data provisions.
We use industry-standard encryption (TLS in transit) and access controls. No system is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but take reasonable measures consistent with Indian law (IT Act 2000, Section 43A reasonable security practices).
