Cortina Notes is a stylus notebook app with handwriting ink, audio notes, AI-powered OCR search, and PDF markup.
To authenticate your account, store and organize your notes and notebooks on your device, and generate OCR text, AI answers, or summaries when you use those features.
When you use OCR, Ask AI, or Summarize, the relevant note content or image is shared with our AI processing provider solely to generate the result. If you choose to back up your notes, they are uploaded directly to your own Google Drive account - not to our servers - using Google's Drive API with your explicit permission.
All data in transit between the app and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS). We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Notes are stored locally on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app. Cloud backups live in your own Google Drive and can be deleted by you at any time from your Drive. You may request deletion of your account by emailing us.
Cortina Notes is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. Contact us at cortinainfinity@gmail.com for any such request.
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
