01.01 Terms of Service

Account Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use the Cortina ∞ AI Studio platform. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and current. Accounts created by minors will be terminated upon discovery.

Service Description

Cortina ∞ AI Studio is an AI-powered image generation platform operated by Lexcore Enterprises Private Limited. The platform provides text-to-image generation, image upscaling, and related creative AI tools through a subscription and credit-based model.

Wallet Credits

Credits purchased on this platform are non-transferable between accounts and non-refundable except as expressly described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Credits have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for currency. Unused credits may expire according to your plan terms.

User Obligations

• Provide accurate registration information and keep it updated
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
• Use the platform only for lawful purposes consistent with these Terms
• Not share, sublicense, or resell access to the platform or its API
• Comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction

Prohibited Uses

You may not use this platform to generate NSFW, illegal, defamatory, or harmful content; to impersonate real individuals; to bypass safety filters; to scrape or harvest data; or to engage in any activity that violates these Terms or applicable law. Refer to the Acceptable Use Policy for the complete list of prohibited activities.

Service Modifications

Lexcore Enterprises reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or the entire service at any time with reasonable notice where practicable. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of services.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with seat of arbitration in India. Courts in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction for matters not subject to arbitration.

01.02 Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Lexcore Enterprises Private Limited collects, uses, and protects your personal data in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP Act) and other applicable Indian laws.

What We Collect

• Account data: Email address, display name, plan type, account creation date
• Usage data: Generation history (prompts + images), credits consumed, feature usage, session logs
• Payment information: Transaction IDs and plan details via Razorpay (we do not store raw card or bank details)
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, access timestamps

What We Do NOT Collect

• Biometric data of any kind
• Precise location data without explicit consent
• Data from minors (accounts are 18+ only)
• Social graph data or contacts

How We Use Your Data

• Delivering, maintaining, and improving platform services
• Processing payments and managing credits
• Fraud prevention, security, and abuse detection
• Sending transactional and service-related communications
• Compliance with legal obligations

Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active, plus one (1) year thereafter for legal and compliance purposes. Payment records are retained as required by applicable financial regulations.

Your Rights (DPDP Act 2023)

• Right to Access: Request a copy of your personal data we hold
• Right to Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
• Right to Erasure: Request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention obligations
• Right to Grievance Redressal: Raise concerns with our Data Protection Officer

01.03 Refund & Cancellation

Cortina ∞ AI Studio provides digital services and AI-generated content. The following refund terms apply in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act 2019.

Credit Usage — Non-Refundable

Credits that have been consumed in generating images or using AI features are non-refundable. Once a generation task is initiated and credits are deducted, the service has been rendered and no refund applies.

Unused Wallet Balance

Unused wallet credit balance (credits that have not been spent on any generation) may be refunded within 7 days of the original purchase, provided no credits from that purchase have been used. Submit your request to legal@cortinainfinity.com with your transaction ID.

Technical Failures

Payment Disputes

Payment processing is handled by Razorpay. If you have a dispute regarding a payment charge that does not fall under the above categories, it will be processed in accordance with Razorpay's dispute resolution policy. We will cooperate fully with any legitimate payment dispute raised through your bank or card provider.

01.04 Acceptable Use Policy

Permitted Uses

• Personal creative projects: All plans — generate art, concept designs, personal projects
• Commercial use: Creator+ plan and above — sell, license, or publish generated images commercially
• Educational use: All plans — academic research, learning, non-commercial educational content

Prohibited Uses

• Generating NSFW, adult, or sexually explicit content of any kind
• Generating illegal content, including content that facilitates illegal acts
• Impersonating real, identifiable individuals including public figures and celebrities
• Automated scraping, crawling, or harvesting of platform content or API responses
• Reselling or sublicensing API access to third parties without written authorization
• Attempting to bypass, circumvent, or disable platform safety filters
• Generating content that promotes hate, violence, or discrimination
• Generating election-related disinformation or political manipulation content
• Any use that violates applicable laws or the rights of third parties

Violations may result in content removal, credit forfeiture, account suspension, or permanent termination. Serious violations will be reported to appropriate authorities.

01.05 Enterprise SLA

Uptime Target

Lexcore Enterprises Private Limited targets 99.5% platform uptime measured on a monthly basis. This excludes scheduled maintenance windows and force majeure events.

Support Response Times

• Enterprise Plan: 4-hour response guarantee (business hours)
• SVIP Plan: 12-hour response (any time)
• Pro Plan: 24-hour response
• Creator / Starter Plans: 72-hour response

SLA Credits for Downtime

If verified platform downtime exceeds the SLA target in any given calendar month, Enterprise customers will receive service credits calculated as a proportional percentage of their monthly subscription fee. Credit claims must be submitted within 7 days of the end of the affected month via legal@cortinainfinity.com.

Exclusions

• Downtime due to client-side connectivity or network issues
• Third-party service provider outages (Razorpay, AWS, GoDaddy)
• Scheduled maintenance windows
• Force majeure events including natural disasters, government actions, or ISP-level disruptions

01.06 Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Cortina ∞ AI Studio uses cookies and similar tracking technologies when you visit our platform.

Essential Cookies

These cookies are strictly necessary for the platform to function. They manage your session authentication, maintain login state, store CSRF tokens, and remember your preferences such as language and theme. These cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality.

Analytics Cookies

We use anonymized analytics cookies to understand how users interact with the platform — which features are used, page load times, error rates, and usage patterns. All analytics data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify individual users. You may opt out of analytics cookies via the Cookie Preferences panel accessible in your account settings.

No Advertising Cookies

Cookie Consent

On your first visit to our platform, you will be presented with a cookie consent notice. You may accept all cookies, accept essential cookies only, or access detailed cookie preferences. Your consent preferences are stored and respected across sessions.

02.01 AI Disclaimer

The outputs produced by Cortina ∞ AI Studio are generated by artificial intelligence models and are provided for creative, experimental, and informational purposes only.

Not Suitable For

• Medical decisions: Do not use AI-generated images or content for diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice
• Legal decisions: AI outputs do not constitute legal advice and should not be relied upon in legal proceedings
• Safety-critical applications: AI-generated content is not suitable for use in safety-critical systems or environments
• Financial decisions: AI outputs should not be used as the sole basis for financial or investment decisions

User Responsibility

You, the user, are solely responsible for how you use, interpret, apply, and distribute any content generated through this platform. Lexcore Enterprises Private Limited accepts no liability for direct or indirect consequences arising from the use or misuse of AI-generated outputs.

02.02 AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

All images produced through Cortina ∞ AI Studio are created by artificial intelligence models. No human artist or designer is involved in the generation process itself.

Copyright Ownership

Cortina ∞ AI Studio and Lexcore Enterprises Private Limited claim no copyright over images you generate using your prompts through this platform. Subject to the platform license and your active subscription plan, generated images are available for your use as described below.

Usage Rights by Plan

• Starter Plan: Personal use only. Generated images may not be used for commercial purposes, sold, licensed, or published in commercial contexts.
• Creator Plan & above: Full commercial license. You may use, sell, license, and publish generated images in commercial contexts without additional royalty to Lexcore Enterprises.

Platform License

By using the platform, you grant Lexcore Enterprises a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free right to display anonymized thumbnail previews of your generations for internal quality review and, optionally, for platform marketing purposes. You may opt out of marketing display in your account privacy settings at any time.

02.03 No Training on User Data

How Your Prompts Are Processed

1. Your text prompt is received by our inference server
2. The prompt is passed to the selected AI model for image generation
3. The generated image is returned to you
4. The prompt is cleared from the active inference pipeline after generation completes

Storage of Prompts

Prompts and associated generated images are stored in your account generation history for your own reference and access. This stored data is used solely to display your history to you and for content moderation if a report is filed. This stored data is never used for AI model training.

Third-Party Model Providers

We contractually require that any third-party model or inference service used on this platform does not use user-submitted prompts or outputs for model training. We do not partner with providers who use customer data for training without explicit opt-in consent.

02.04 Transparency & Model Disclosure

We believe in transparency about the AI technology that powers this platform. The following is a disclosure of the models and technology infrastructure used.

AI Models in Use

• SDXL (Stable Diffusion XL): High-resolution photorealistic and artistic image generation
• DreamShaper XL: Versatile creative generation with cinematic aesthetic
• Realistic Vision XL: Photorealistic portrait and scene generation
• Anime Diffusion: Anime and illustrated art style generation

Model Licensing

All AI models deployed on this platform are licensed for commercial use. We do not deploy models that restrict commercial output or require attribution for individual generations.

Foundational Model Development

Lexcore Enterprises Private Limited does not develop, train, or maintain foundational AI models. We are an application layer platform that integrates existing, licensed AI models to deliver creative services to users.

02.05 Privacy-First Architecture

Our platform is built with privacy as a foundational design principle, not an afterthought. The following technical measures are implemented to protect your data.

Authentication & Sessions

• Session-based authentication with secure, HttpOnly cookies
• Passwords stored using bcrypt hashing (never in plaintext)
• API keys are hashed before storage and never exposed in full after creation

Data Transmission

• All data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.3
• HTTPS enforced across all endpoints with HSTS headers
• Strict Content Security Policy (CSP) headers on all pages

Payment Data

Rate Limiting & Access Control

• Rate limiting applied to all API endpoints to prevent abuse
• Role-based access control (RBAC) for internal systems
• All admin actions logged with audit trail

02.06 Data Processing Addendum (DPA)

This Data Processing Addendum (DPA) sets out the terms under which Lexcore Enterprises Private Limited (as Data Processor) processes personal data on behalf of Enterprise customers (as Data Controllers).

Roles

• Data Controller: The Enterprise customer who determines the purposes and means of processing personal data
• Data Processor: Lexcore Enterprises Private Limited, which processes data on the instructions of the Controller

GDPR Alignment

While our primary jurisdiction is India, our DPA is aligned with GDPR principles for the benefit of enterprise customers with international operations. This includes lawful basis for processing, data subject rights support, breach notification within 72 hours, and standard contractual clauses (SCCs) where applicable.

• Razorpay: Payment processing
• Amazon Web Services (AWS): Compute, storage, and inference infrastructure
• GoDaddy: Web hosting and domain services

Data Residency

Primary data residency is in India. Enterprise customers requiring specific regional data residency should contact us to discuss available options.

03.01 Copyright & IP Respect

Lexcore Enterprises Private Limited respects the intellectual property rights of third parties and expects users of this platform to do the same.

Our Approach

• All AI models deployed on this platform are trained on datasets that are licensed for commercial use or are in the public domain
• We maintain active compliance with model license terms from all upstream providers
• We respond to valid copyright notices within 48 hours of receipt
• We maintain a DMCA agent and process for takedown requests (see DMCA section)

User Obligations

Users may not use this platform to knowingly reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works of copyrighted material without appropriate authorization. This includes using prompts designed to replicate the distinctive style of a specific living artist in a manner that could substitute for their work commercially.

03.02 DMCA Takedown Support

Cortina ∞ AI Studio operates a DMCA-compliant content takedown process. If you believe that content on this platform infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice.

How to Submit a Takedown Notice

Email legal@cortinainfinity.com with the subject line "DMCA Takedown" and include all of the following:

1. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (description or URL)
2. Location of the allegedly infringing content on our platform (URL or sufficient description to locate it)
3. Your contact information: Name, address, telephone number, and email address
4. Good faith statement: "I have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law."
5. Accuracy statement: "I declare under penalty of perjury that the information in this notification is accurate, and that I am the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner."
6. Your physical or electronic signature

We reserve the right to terminate accounts of repeat infringers.

03.03 Security Practices

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect our platform and your data against unauthorized access, disclosure, and misuse.

Technical Security Measures

• HTTPS-only: All connections are encrypted via TLS 1.3; unencrypted HTTP is rejected
• Rate limiting: Applied on all API and web endpoints to prevent brute force and DoS attacks
• SQL injection prevention: All database queries use parameterized prepared statements
• XSS protection: Output encoding and Content Security Policy (CSP) headers on all pages
• CSRF protection: CSRF tokens required on all state-changing requests
• Input validation: All user inputs are validated and sanitized server-side

Security Reviews

We conduct regular internal security reviews of critical platform components. Significant releases undergo security testing before deployment.

03.04 Export Control Notice

The use of Cortina ∞ AI Studio is subject to applicable export control laws and regulations.

Sanctioned Countries

User Compliance Obligation

By accessing this platform, you represent and warrant that:

• You are not located in, or a national or resident of, any OFAC-sanctioned country
• You are not on any government list of prohibited or restricted parties
• You will comply with all applicable export control laws in your jurisdiction

API Access

Enterprise API access is subject to additional export control review. We may require additional verification before granting API access to certain regions or organization types. Contact legal@cortinainfinity.com for Enterprise API inquiries.

03.05 IP Policy — Who Owns Generated Images

This policy clarifies intellectual property ownership of images generated through Cortina ∞ AI Studio.

Prompts

You retain full ownership of the text prompts you create and submit to the platform. Prompts are your creative input and are treated as your proprietary information.

Generated Images — Ownership by Plan

• Starter Plan: You receive a limited personal use license for generated images. Commercial use, resale, or licensing to third parties is not permitted under this plan.
• Creator Plan & above: You receive a full commercial license for generated images. You may use, sell, license, exhibit, or publish generated images without additional fees or royalty to Lexcore Enterprises.

Platform's Rights

Lexcore Enterprises retains the right to display anonymized, thumbnail-sized versions of generated images for internal quality assurance, research, and optionally for platform marketing showcases. You may opt out of marketing display at any time in your account privacy settings. Opting out does not affect your ability to use the platform or your image rights.

04.01 No Celebrity Likeness

Generating realistic depictions of real, identifiable individuals — including celebrities, public figures, politicians, and private individuals — without clear consent markers is prohibited on this platform.

Why This Policy Exists

Realistic AI-generated depictions of real people without consent can cause significant harm, including defamation, harassment, identity misuse, non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII), and reputational damage. We take this risk seriously.

Active Enforcement

• Our prompt filters actively detect and block requests containing the names of well-known individuals in contexts likely to produce realistic likenesses
• Output classifiers review generated images for identifiable real-person likenesses
• Attempts to use coded language or descriptors to circumvent these filters are treated as violations of the Acceptable Use Policy

04.02 No Copyrighted Characters

Generating images of trademarked or copyrighted fictional characters is prohibited. This includes but is not limited to characters owned by Disney, Marvel, DC, Nintendo, Toei Animation, Studio Ghibli, and other intellectual property holders.

What Is Prohibited

• Generating recognizable depictions of trademarked characters (e.g., Mickey Mouse, Spider-Man, Pikachu)
• Generating images designed to replicate character designs protected by copyright
• Using prompt language specifically designed to reproduce such characters while evading filters

Enforcement

Our prompt filtering system maintains a database of known trademarked character names and associated terms. Prompts containing flagged terms are blocked before processing. We update our filter database regularly as new content is identified.

04.03 No Political Manipulation

The generation of realistic fake images of politicians, political events, election processes, government officials, or content designed to spread political disinformation is strictly prohibited.

Prohibited Content

• Realistic fake images of named politicians or heads of state in any context
• Images designed to misrepresent political events, protests, or electoral processes
• Content intended to influence elections or voting behavior through deception
• Deepfake-style images of political figures making false statements or in fabricated scenarios

This policy is implemented in compliance with applicable Indian laws regarding election integrity and the Information Technology Act 2000 provisions on digital content manipulation.

04.04 No Harmful Content

Cortina ∞ AI Studio maintains a zero-tolerance policy for the following categories of harmful content. These are not subject to appeal or exception.

Zero-Tolerance Categories

• CSAM (Child Sexual Abuse Material): Any sexual content involving minors. Immediate termination and mandatory report to law enforcement.
• NCII (Non-Consensual Intimate Imagery): Intimate or sexual images of real people without verifiable consent
• Gore and graphic violence: Gratuitous, realistic depictions of violence, injury, or death
• Terrorism promotion: Content that glorifies, promotes, recruits for, or facilitates acts of terrorism or mass violence
• Hate content: Content that dehumanizes individuals or groups based on protected characteristics including race, religion, gender, sexuality, nationality, or disability

Response Process

Upon detection of harmful content, whether through automated systems or human review: (1) content is immediately removed, (2) account is suspended pending review, (3) matter is escalated to our senior moderation team, (4) where legally required, reported to authorities.

04.05 Prompt & Output Filtering

We implement a multi-layer filtering system to prevent harmful, illegal, and policy-violating content from being generated or displayed on the platform.

Layer 1 — Input Prompt Keyword Filtering

All prompts submitted to the platform are scanned against a regularly maintained blocklist of keywords and phrases associated with prohibited content categories. Prompts that trigger high-confidence matches are blocked before any generation occurs.

Layer 2 — Semantic Safety Classifier

Prompts that pass keyword filtering are evaluated by a semantic safety classifier that assesses the intent and likely output of the prompt. This layer catches obfuscated or coded language designed to evade keyword filters.

Layer 3 — Output Image NSFW Classifier

Generated images are passed through an NSFW and safety classifier before being delivered to the user. Images that exceed safety thresholds are blocked and not displayed, and the associated credit may be refunded at our discretion.

False Positives

04.06 Manual + Automated Moderation

Platform content is subject to both automated moderation systems and human review to ensure comprehensive, fair, and accurate enforcement of our policies.

Automated Moderation

• Real-time prompt and output filtering (see Prompt & Output Filtering section)
• Automated flagging of accounts with repeated policy violations
• Anomaly detection for unusual generation patterns or API abuse

Human Moderation

• All automated flags are reviewed by a human moderator within 24 hours
• Community-reported content is reviewed within 24 hours
• Complex or ambiguous cases are escalated to senior moderators
• All moderation decisions are documented with reasoning

Escalating Sanctions

First violation: content removal and warning. Second violation: temporary suspension (7–30 days). Third violation or serious first violation: permanent account termination. Immediate termination without prior warning applies to Category 1 violations (CSAM, political manipulation, terrorism promotion).

Public Content

Where users opt to share generations publicly or in community galleries, such content is subject to additional proactive moderation review before and after publication.

04.07 Child Safety & Protection

Platform Measures

• Multi-layer filtering blocks any prompt or generation attempt involving minors in sexual contexts
• Output image classifiers specifically trained to detect CSAM are run on all generated images
• Accounts found generating or attempting to generate such content are immediately terminated
• All relevant data is preserved and provided to law enforcement upon request

Mandatory Reporting

All suspected CSAM detected on this platform is immediately and mandatorily reported to:

• NCMEC (National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, USA) — CyberTipline
• CERT-In (Indian Computer Emergency Response Team)
• Local law enforcement authorities in India

Age Restriction

This platform is strictly for users 18 years of age and older. We implement age verification measures during registration and will terminate any account discovered to belong to a minor.

If you discover CSAM or child exploitation content on this platform, report it immediately to legal@cortinainfinity.com or directly to NCMEC at cybertipline.org.

04.08 User Appeal Process

We recognize that automated systems and human moderators can make mistakes. If you believe a moderation action taken against your account or content was incorrect, you have the right to appeal.

What Can Be Appealed

• Content removal decisions
• Account suspension (temporary or permanent, except Category 1 zero-tolerance violations)
• Credit deduction for a blocked generation you believe was policy-compliant
• Feature restrictions applied to your account

How to Submit an Appeal

Response Timeline

• Initial acknowledgment: Within 24 hours
• Full response with decision: Within 5 business days
• Complex cases requiring senior review: Up to 10 business days

Senior Review

If you are unsatisfied with the outcome of an initial appeal, you may request a senior moderation team review by replying to the appeal response with "REQUEST SENIOR REVIEW". Senior reviews are conducted once per issue and the decision is final.

Non-Appealable Decisions

The following decisions are final and not subject to appeal: account termination for CSAM generation or attempt, political manipulation intended to cause election interference, and termination resulting from a law enforcement request or court order.
